Description
Position Summary:
The Assistant Scheduling Manager is responsible for providing coordination and scheduling oversight of the scheduling team to assure quality, continuity and delivery of services. Scheduling functions includes coordinating the assignment of employees to clients based on the needs of client and qualifications of available field staff.  Responsible for the timely input of schedule related information into the computer system. Experience as a  Lead/Manager in collections is a plus. 

Position Requirements:
  • Ensure clients are notified of service or service cancellations
  • Orient and train new staff
  • Monitor overtime usage
  • Ensure policies and procedures are followed
  • Some budget monitoring and other quality assurance tasks as assigned
  • Serve as liaison between scheduling and other department
Qualifications: 
  • High school graduate or equivalency.
  • Two (2) years experience office, telemarketing or scheduling.
  • Previous scheduling or Homecare coordination experience preferred. 
  • Must have a minimum of one year Leadership/Supervisor experience.  Lead or supervisory experience in scheduling, logistics, high volume call centers, or collections preferred.   
  • Must possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, telephone, documentation and communication skills. 
  • Must possess competent computer skills, with windows-based experience required.  
  • Willing/able to be trained on software package used by Agency.
  • Must possess the disposition and personality to work harmoniously with a wide variety of people and all levels of staff, and interact with other members of the team. 
Working Environment / Physical and Personal Requirements: 
  • Able to read, write and communicate in English.
  • Must be able to complete all physical demands of the job, which may include, but not be limited to: the ability to lift up to 20 pounds, prolonged periods of sitting and intermittent physical activity such as occasional requirement to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, pull, climb, reach, lift and perform repetitive movements of the upper extremities including frequent writing and typing.  Must be able to read normal typewritten print and have corrected vision and hearing within normal range.  Has manual dexterity with normal range of motion of all extremities.  
  • Must have ability to operate a computer and/or a tablet PC. 
  • May be requested to work weekends, holidays, and variable hours based on needs of the department. 
  •  Must be able to work independently setting own priorities based upon Supervisor’s approved goals with minimum supervision.
  • Occasional local travel may be required to meet with potential clients
