If so, the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) of HealthForce may be perfect for you. HealthForce is a fun and rewarding place to work. Our ADON assists with the daily clinical operations and regulatory activities of HealthForce. They also spend time visiting clients in their home ensuring that they are able to remain safely there by evaluating their care and evaluating and education our caregivers. They onboard new clients coming onto services and also spend time in the office supporting orientation of new caregivers.

Qualifications:
Current license as a Registered Professional Nurse in NY State.

  • Must possess either:
  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and two (2) years current; experience as a Supervisor in the health care field and at least one (1) year of home care experience; OR
  • An Associate Degree in Nursing, or a three year Diploma in Nursing; and at least four (4) years' work experience in a health care field of which two (2) years must be in community health and two (2) years must be in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
  • Past experience and educational qualifications are appropriate for the duties assigned and to be responsible for the direction and supervision of all patient care services and other health care activities of the agency. Proven successful record in Management or Supervision of Professional Nurses and patient care services.
  • Previous experience with NY State regulations and compliance requirements as related to NY State home care preferred.
  • Possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, telephone, documentation and communication skills.
  • Possess ability to plan, organize, develop, implement and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures necessary in the provision of care / services.
  • Possess computer skills and comfortable working within an EMR
