Position Summary:
The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for providing scheduling functions for the direct care personnel assuring the quality, continuity and delivery of services. Scheduling functions includes coordinating the assignment of employees to patients based on the needs of the patient and the qualifications of the employee. Responsible for the timely input of schedule related information into the computer system. Experience in scheduling, high volume phone traffic, great costumer service, logistics or collections preferred.

Qualifications: 
o High school graduate or equivalency.
o Two (2) years experience office, telemarketing or scheduling. Previous scheduling or Homecare coordination experience preferred. .
 
  • Must possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, telephone, documentation and communication skills.
  • Must possess competent computer skills, with windows-based experience required.
  • Willing/able to be trained on software package used by Agency.
  • Must possess the disposition and personality to work harmoniously with a wide variety of people and all levels of staff, and interact with other members of the team.
Working Environment / Physical and Personal Requirements:
  • Able to read, write and communicate in English.
  • Must be able to complete all physical demands of the job, which may include, but not be limited to: the ability to lift up to 20 pounds, prolonged periods of sitting and intermittent physical activity such as occasional requirement to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, pull, climb, reach, lift and perform repetitive movements of the upper extremities including frequent writing and typing. Must be able to read normal typewritten print and have corrected vision and hearing within normal range. Has manual dexterity with normal range of motion of all extremities.
  • Must have ability to operate a computer and/or a tablet PC.
  • Some weekends, holidays, and variable hours based on needs of the department required.
  • Must be able to work independently setting own priorities based upon Supervisor's approved goals with minimum supervision.
