Position Summary:

The Human Resource On-Boarding Specialist assures the on-boarding of applicants is processed with customer service and compliance in mind. The HR on-boarding specialist ensures candidates and new employees are in compliance with applicable agency regulations, including monitoring, tracking and data entry. The On-boarding specialist acts as the liaison between the consumer and their aides.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree with two years of HR and onboarding experience is preferred, Will accept any similar combination of education and experience
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking, On-boarding and HRIS systems is required.
  • Prefer experience working in a healthcare environment.
  • Must possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, telephone, documentation and communication skills.
  • Must possess competent computer skills, with Windows-based experience required. Willing/able to be trained on software package used by Agency.
  • Must possess relationship management with the disposition and personality to work harmoniously with a wide variety of people and all levels of staff, and interact with other members of the team.

Working Environment / Physical and Personal Requirements:

  • Able to read, write and communicate in English.
  • Must have ability to operate a computer and/or a tablet PC.
  • Must be able to work independently setting own priorities based upon approved goals with minimum supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Must be able to complete all physical demands of the job, which may include, but not be limited to: the ability to lift up to 20 pounds, prolonged periods of sitting and intermittent physical activity such as occasional requirement to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, pull, climb, reach, lift and perform repetitive movements of the upper extremities including frequent writing and typing. Must be able to read normal typewritten print and have corrected vision and hearing within normal range. Has manual dexterity with normal range of motion of all extremities.
  • May be requested to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime.
